VortexCraft
One job: keep the frame rate high and the game stable. The renderer, the chunk pipeline and every stutter point are swapped out for something faster. Nothing about how Minecraft plays changes — that's the point. It also joins vanilla servers, so there's no version hunting before you play.
01What it is
Built to get out of the way.
VortexCraft started from a simple complaint: no pack felt like it just worked. So there's no bloat here, no content mods to argue about — every one of the 71 mods has to earn its place by making the game smoother or more stable.
It ships as a .mrpack, so importing it into a launcher takes a minute. The pack is client-side: join any vanilla server and the server never knows the difference.
02What's swapped
The heavy parts, replaced.
Vanilla renders, culls and loads chunks in ways that leave a lot on the table. The pack rebuilds those paths with the current generation of optimization mods.
The renderer
Sodium and Iris replace the vanilla pipeline; ImmediatelyFast batches draw calls that used to be made one at a time.
Chunk work
C2ME and Noisium spread chunk generation and noise across threads instead of queuing it.
Culling
Entity Culling and More Culling skip what the camera can't see; FerriteCore and FastChest trim per-block overhead.
Loading & stalls
ModernFix, SmoothBoot and Async Pack Scan remove the long pauses at startup and world load.
Tested mid-range
The benchmark run was on an RTX 3060 and a Ryzen 5 — frame times stay steady, not just the averages.
Included mods — all 71
03Install
Three steps, one of them is waiting.
Note
The pack is client-side. You don't install anything on a server — with these mods, the server still sees a vanilla client.
