Calvin's Wonderland
A playable recreation of Calvin's wonderland.jar: a liminal dimension of twenty-five levels, thirty-two entities, and a hunt that starts on whatever day it feels like. Some worlds take you on day two. Others wait until day fifteen.
01The hunt
They watch before they take.
Entities like no_one, Fate and Sorrow don't patrol a route and move on. They watch how you move and where you hide, and their search changes because of it. When they finally reach you, the pull into the Wonderland isn't a death screen — it's a different game.
It's slow-burn horror. A world can sleep for fifteen in-game days and then take you in the middle of the second. That randomness is the point: there's no clock to plan around.
02Inside
A dimension with rules of its own.
- 25 levels
- Backrooms-style floors, each with its own atmosphere, layout and threats. No two play the same.
- 32 entities
- Each with its own behaviour. A few hunt by memory, not by sight.
- Sound in 3D
- Positional audio — drones, distant footsteps, and silence used as a warning system.
- Lights out
- Dynamic darkness turns light into currency. The dark is a mechanic, not a decoration.
The core mods are kept deliberately few — Wonderland (dimension & entities), Enhanced Audio (3D positional sound) and Lights Out (dynamic darkness). No quality-of-life additions that would break the tension.
03The place
Some of it, in pictures.
